A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING... including the weather!

Natalie and Trent are now married! They met 6 years ago, the actual week that Dave and I were married. They have been through a lot together and are now married for time and eternity. I am so thrilled for my sister. We had a FABULOUS day. The weather was suppose to be "wet, raining all day, with scattered thunderstorms." I am thankful to report that the weather man were only partially right about the rain and thunderstorms, it came and went between the luncheon and reception only lasted for 1 or 2 hours! And it was overcast during all the pictures at temple (perfect for photos), and blue sky (though a little cold) at the reception. We were nervous towards the end of the reception and prepared ourselves for a wet cleanup (it was an outdoor wedding), however we had beautiful clear skies until 1:30 AM (yes we were up until then, though part of it was relaxing for a moment in the hot tub :).

The Miner Family

All the siblings, this picture makes me so happy! And a bit teary, I love my sibs more and more each day.

The Young sisters went all over the valley to Target stores to get us prepared for rain. Luckily we didn't need the umbrellas, but they made for cute pictures!

Being goofy, I told them to jump and this is what happened.. yes they are a bit giddy as they should be.

This is Franny, our "adopted" sister, she and Natalie have been best friends since Junior High. She basically lived at our house and we LOVE her! I am so glad you came Franny. I will email you lots more cute pictures. I love this moment- you being the umbrella holder!

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY

So as much as we have liked having a mild June so far, I am ready for warm sunny weather. I was ready to start my tan a few weeks ago. I wouldn't mind so much, except Saturday is my sister's wedding day! We need to have some good weather for her. It is an outdoor wedding so we REALLY need dry weather. Lets hope for the best! I am excited to be with my family all day and enjoy celebrating with Natalie!

A WEEK OF MISHAPS

SUNDAY~ Wrong church building, we missed a lot of sacrament meeting. Wrong time on my Dad's 60th birthday party, we were LATE! Anna was grumpy pants and wouldn't say hi to anyone, occasionally crying for no apparent reason, maybe she knew what the week to come would bring.

MONDAY~ Anna hit her mouth against the table and knocked her gums so they bled... a lot.

TUESDAY~ Took Mia on a walk and she got off her leash and ran into the neighbor's yard scaring an older lady. Anna got a huge diaper rash.

WEDNESDAY~ Anna took a tumble at the park and got a black eye and Dave got a flat tire on his way home from work.

THURSDAY~ Heidi went to pick up Anna and scratched her face and washed her cell phone is the WASHING MACHINE! AHHHH!!

FRIDAY~ Has just begun, let's hope the mishaps ended the the big one yesterday!

SO HAPPY!

After getting awoken a bit earlier than I thought and feeling a bit exhausted (though not as much as my cute husband who has to get up at unearthly hours to make an hour commute everyday) I have found this day to be so much better than anticipated! I am grateful for so many things right now and thought I would make a quick list.

* I just got AMAZING news from two friends:

- one who has been trying to conceive for over 2.5 years (?) and is PREGNANT!

- Another who just gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL little girl

- CONGRATS M & A and N & A! I am thankful to have wonderful friends!

* Anna did go back to sleep after waking up early and crabby

* My husband is doing well in his internship

* I get to watch my cute 2 year old niece today, she make me smile by all the cute things she does.
* I got to spend the whole weekend with amazing family members in the beauty of the mountains with a little break to celebrate my

* I get to go shopping for a new purse today.

* It's only 9:00 and the day has already been great!

* I get to live at the foothills of the most beautiful mountains! Man I have missed them, it seems every day here in Utah I am more amazed at their beauty!

At the Stables...

The evening of Natalie's bridals (see previous post) a friend wanted to try her hand at bridals. So we went out to draper to a farm where the friend wanted to take some by the stables. It was quite the experience! Here's what happened...

A Beautiful Bride! (TRENT DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER!)

My younger sister, Natalie, is getting married to her high school sweetheart, Trent Young, next month. We are so excited! Today we went with her to get her bridals taken, she felt like a Queen (as she should have). She was GORGEOUS! It couldn't have been a prettier day! I cannot wait to see the photographer's photos. It was so fun to be there with you Nat! I love you.
