Jamaican Feet

For some odd reason I started taking photos of our outings and moments with just my feet in them.   Which is quite odd, because I HATE my feet, if you know me well enough you know how my skin is awful, especially when I wear flip flops.   Well, with cute glitter toes, thanks to my friend, Natasha, it seemed okay to show them off a little bit.  This actually turned out to be a fun way to journal and I thought because I went to all that work it deserved a whole blog post.  (Dave also took a few pics with his feet, mocking me of course, and he’ll be amazed at how many I took.) Here’s to you feet, thanks for taking me everywhere!

And to bring it to a close, this was a great way to document my tan (however funky it might have been).

Jamaica- the left overs

I know, give it up already, but I still have MORE to talk about. And this is my way of documenting this awesome vacation. I have a hard time limiting myself to only a few photos so I had to choose themes from the trip and this post is dedicated to all the random things that happened.  I loved this trip because we got to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted. I didn’t have to worry about the girls, and didn’t have to pack treats in my bag for them.  It was just Dave and I in paradise experiencing a bunch of different things.

We did fun things like go on a paddle boat…

We watched and watched a LOT of rain and went for a walk along the beach getting soaked in it. (along the way we met a Jamaican man who appeared out of the ocean and asked us if we liked to “party” aka did we want drugs. No, especially not in the pouring rain! (:

I missed my girls enough to make their names in the sand

They had a entertainment crew who did various activities which most resulted in some drunk men or women dancing.  They were pretty funny though.

Our favorites were: Tracy and Pim.  There was one weirdo who was never fully involved and would make Macaw sounds throughout the shows. There is always one…isn’t there…?? Every night we attended the ONLY form of entertainment they provided, besides getting all you can eat drinks at the bar. I don’t mean to be mean, but the shows were only okay. By the 3rd night they became the same thing: dancing in scandalous and strange costumes and shaking your hips and booty a lot as well as lip synching to songs that partially related to the theme of the show.

Really? what are they wearing?  We left shortly after this “CĂ©line Dion” lip sync and went for a walk in the moonlight on the beach.

It was much more romantic

We also got to see a wedding party send off lanterns.  It was REALLY cool though our photos wouldn’t show it. “And at last I see the lights…”

We were trying to figure out our “night mode” on the camera.  It looks like we have some work to do.DSC_0108DSC_0109

Speaking of the night, I loved the large moon we had the whole trip

That’s it, I’m finished. What a GREAT trip… now what is our next adventure? We are lucky enough to say right now that by the end of the year there will be a couple more, just not as relaxing. (:
